I have some amazing news! Debit MasterCard announces the second show of Debit MasterCard Priceless Music series for 2011. This time they are launching Kasabian’s new Album with an exclusive live concert! Lucky for you, have 1 x double pass for you and a friend to see them!
Having the first 2011 series that kicked off in May with Perth’s own Birds of Tokyo at Sydney Harbour’s Cockatoo Island, MasterCard is again bringing some great entertainment, but this time round, they are heading to Melbourne at the Peninsula, Docklands!
I must admit I have not heard of Kasabian, but I haven’t heard of a lot of things because often I do live under a rock. After a little google and wiki reading, I found the UK band to be amazingly successful and widely accepted. Especially with their last album, West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, which sold a million copies worldwide.
Their 4th album Velociraptor! is due for release on 16 September, which they say will “inspire awe in believers, strike fear into the hearts of enemies and bestride the world like a colossus.” The first track from the album, Switchblade Smiles, has already gone viral among fans in anticipation for the album.
Being a music lover and previous music student, I’ve always appreciated all and every type of music, even though I’m classically trained. I’ve been youtubing all of Kasabian’s for the past hour and I think now I want to go to the exclusive concert live! Unfortunately for me, but good news for you, I’m giving it away to you guys!

I love music for it's ability to evoke certain emotions. I feel that life would be so much better if everyone had their own personal orchestra following them around all day playing their own unique theme song! Imagine everytime something bad happened the trombone would play "dum dum dummmmm" oh yeaaah!

I love music for its power to make you superior to anyone else around you. All you need is to be listening to Morrissey and all of a sudden your cool ratio explodes compared to anyone else. Music has an amazing ability to define someone and subsequently allow you to choose whether or not to they are to be a friend, without that arduous task of getting to know them. Its is a fuckwit shield, "oh what was that, your listening to lady gaga...fantastic, lets never hang out, because there is no doubt in my mind your a toss-pot."
